  4. ArtMatic Pro 2.5 is an astounding tool with a broad range of applications that includes the image, animation and sound synthesis, picture and movie processing, special effects creation and more.

If you are already familiar with ArtMatic, we encourage you to explore the expanded documentation. A lot has changed in ArtMatic Pro 2.5. Because the expanded documentation is quite large, the complete documentation is no longer included with the download. Be sure to download it via the links provided in the file Get_Documentation.html

  9. Requirements
  10. ArtMatic runs on any Macintosh equipped with a PowerPC processor. ArtMatic's realtime features work best on computers powered by a 300 MHz 604 processor or G3 processor. 
  11. Quicktime 3.0 or higher.
  12. Note : ArtMatic works fastest when the screen is in 32 bit mode (millions of colors)

  14. DEMO VERSION NOTE
  15. This demo version is fully-functional except that save and render to disk functions have been disabled.

  18. The documentation contains a quick tutorial to acquaint you with ArtMatic's most commonly used features as well as more advanced tutorials. If you have questions, be sure to check the documentation first.

  25. Tips and notes:
  26. • To export a single tile element use Tile 128 or Tile 256
  27. • Larger memory partition size are required for high res pict output
  28. • Use "screen desktop size" to export a picture for use as a desktop background

  30. Installation Note
  31. Virtual Memory may not be compatible with ArtMatic's sound generation features. If you are having problems, open the Memory control panel and make sure that Virtual Memory is turned off. You must reboot for changes of this setting to take effect.
